About Captain Jeremy
I am not your average skipper. I bring marine science, conservation, and a genuine love of Moreton Bay to every charter.
Jeremy Wolff
Captain & Owner · Marine Science Background
I created Sea La Vie because I wanted to offer a more personal kind of tourism, one where guests feel genuinely looked after, not processed through a standard tour.
My background combines marine science, conservation, hospitality, and time on the water. I hold double Master's degrees in Conservation Biology and Natural Resource Management, and I have worked in coral reef mapping research with The University of Queensland. My field experience has also included CoralWatch reef surveys in the southern Great Barrier Reef and coral tree rehabilitation work in the northern Great Barrier Reef.
Earlier in my career, I worked with Australian Geographic and published wildlife and nature articles, which helped shape the way I share places, wildlife, and stories with people.
I have been navigating Moreton Bay for 13 years, and Sea La Vie brings all of this together: local knowledge, care for the marine environment, and a strong focus on hospitality. I want my guests to feel safe, relaxed, well looked after, and to enjoy the best possible produce, drinks, and experience throughout the day.
My background also includes published work in coral reef habitat mapping, marine science, wildlife, and nature writing.
